COLTEN GRIFFIN

Storyteller & Filmmaker

Starting from a young age, Colten Griffin has always been driven to create new and ambitious ways of storytelling in both his writing and filmmaking that have pushed his work to be fully realized.

Specializing in Screenwriting and Directing, Colten has seen himself in every aspect of the filmmaking process with experience in sound design, editing, cinematography, and producing. His commitment to each project and seeing it through to the end is one of many qualities that make him a strong filmmaker. Griffin has developed his technical skills as well in both camera operation and Adobe software.

Having shown his films at his local theater and Seattle film festivals, he was awarded second place at the NFFTY 48-hour film challenge for his film Sometimes Monsters. Besides his filmography, he's also assisted in many other projects being a camera operator and production assistant on music videos and short films His experience also reaches into Wedding Videography, Event Videography, and commercial work.

As of Fall 2020, Colten started attending Savannah College of Art and Design getting a B.F.A in Film & Television, along with a minor in Dramatic Writing.

Colten is always working on something, whether it be a film, freelancing, or his writing; he's always pushing forward with something more ambitious. With experience in many forms of creative media he welcomes any opportunity thrown his way.
